Serebrum was founded with the firm belief that quality tuition should be a part of every student’s academic journey, as every student is unique and deserves to learn in their own unique way. The schooling curriculum and methodologies are rigid, and unfortunately, do not cater to everyone’s learning style, pace of comprehension, and areas of interest. The simple solution is creating a learning hub where students of all abilities and ages come together to learn directly from qualified teachers, in a completely bespoke tutoring experience. This is the seedling that began the journey of Serebrum.
Founded by Shylee Barhom in 2012, Serebrum was actualised through a vision for a new realm of learning, where each student is provided with a wealth of tools and resources to academically thrive, and pave a gateway into long-term success both within the schooling paradigm and beyond.
It is through this vision, that Serebrum has proved itself as a destination spot for students to achieve genuine academic confidence, and break their own academic records resulting in a Serebrum cohort of academically advanced students who sit at the apex of the scholastic chain.
Founded in 2012 by Shylee Barhom, the vision was simple: give all students the tuition experience they personally need to academically thrive. What started as a dream to provide kids with the tools necessary to flourish, saw hundreds of students experience the Serebrum difference with groundbreaking results. Shylee’s passion for education and instilling a love of learning is one that is felt throughout Serebrum, and is the backbone of what serebrum stands for. Working with a close knit team of qualified teachers and HSC specialists, Serebrum has been producing academically resilient students for close to ten years, and the results truly do speak for themselves. A decade of tweaking and perfecting the resources, methodologies and structure of tuition, has made Serebrum everything it is today.
What started as a passion and a dream has flourished into an academy that has hundreds of students enrolled each week, reaching benchmarks and exceeding personal goals with every tutoring lesson.
Our new Serebrum HQ brings conception to reality, a centre for all things Education in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, a space for learning and thriving – moulding the next generation of ambitious achievers.
Shylee’s vision sees students across the nation gaining access to expert tuition and a personalised approach to learning that the schooling system lacks. Shylee is committed to expanding Serebrum’s reach geographically across the nation, both through attendance at Serebrum colleges and via the Serebrum virtual learning platform.
